Understanding SurgeTrader’s Spreads and Commissions
SurgeTrader offers two distinct account types to cater to different trading preferences: the Standard account and the ThinkZero account. To get an in-depth view of the average spreads associated with each, potential and current traders can refer to the contract specification page available on the SurgeTrader website. This resource provides valuable information on trading conditions for various financial instruments.
Commission Structure
The Standard account benefits from a no-commission structure, making it an attractive option for traders who prefer simplicity in their trading costs. On the other hand, the ThinkZero account introduces a commission model, where traders are charged $7 per lot. This commission is applied round trip—meaning $3.50 is charged when you open a position and another $3.50 when you close it. For example, trading 1 lot in a base currency of USD would incur a total commission of $7, while trading 2 lots would double the commission to $14.
It is also important to note that SurgeTrader does not apply commission charges on Indices and Equities CFDs, providing further flexibility in trading options without additional costs.
