SFX Funded is a Dubai-based prop firm (SFX International FZCO) that has been trading since 2023 and now runs six routes to capital: the Rapid 1-Step, 1-Step Pro, Ascend 2-Step, Ignite 2-Step, Instant Funding, and a Pass First, Pay Later model that costs $7 up front. Accounts run on Match-Trader and Platform5 from around $48, profit splits start at 80% and scale to 100%, and payouts are backed by a 48-hour guarantee. The trade-off sits in the rulebook: most programmes use a trailing drawdown, an SFX Stability Index gates every withdrawal, and hedging, copy trading and third-party EAs are banned outright. Note also that Trustpilot has removed the firm’s star rating after detecting fake reviews — covered in full below.
- Profit splits scale to 100%.

SFX Funded Review: Six Funding Routes, 100% Profit Splits — and a Suppressed Trustpilot Rating
SFX Funded positions itself as a prop trading firm built around integrity, transparency and trader success. Traders can manage up to $500,000 of funded capital across accounts — with scaling ceilings quoted as high as $3.2 million — and earn profit splits that start at 80% and scale to 100%, trading forex, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies on Match-Trader and Platform5. This review covers all six funding routes, the trailing-drawdown model, the SFX Stability Index, and the current status of the firm’s Trustpilot rating.

Who Are SFX Funded?
SFX Funded is a proprietary trading firm legally known as SFX International FZCO. The firm has been trading since 2023 and the FZCO entity was incorporated in Dubai in May 2024, so you will see both dates quoted as its founding year. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the firm is managed by its co-founders, Husam Samy and Franca Kraut. SFX Funded offers traders a choice between two account types: a two-step evaluation and an instant funding program. The company partners with a tier-1 liquidity provider to ensure the best simulated real market trading conditions. SFX Funded’s headquarters are located at 23691–001, A2 Building, IFZA Business Park, DDP, DSO, Dubai, UAE.

Her ability to navigate complex business landscapes makes her an invaluable asset to the company’s leadership team.
SFX Funded: Funding Program Options
SFX Funded now offers six routes to a funded account. They differ far more in their rules than in their price, and the single most important difference is the drawdown model — only the Ascend 2-Step uses a static maximum loss. Every other programme trails your highest-ever account value.
Rapid 1-Step
- Profit target: 3%, single phase
- Daily loss: 3%, measured from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC
- Maximum loss: 4% trailing
- Minimum trading days: none in evaluation; 10 per payout once funded
- Time limit: none — Stability Index cap: 15%
- Indicative pricing: $7,500 – $48 · $15,000 – $60 · $30,000 – $114 · $60,000 – $174 · $120,000 – $294
1-Step Pro
- Profit target: 9%
- Daily loss: none during the evaluation phase
- Maximum loss: 6% trailing
- Maximum floating loss: −1% of balance. First breach cuts your split by 40%, second breach closes the account
- Minimum trading days: 4 qualifying days — Funded payouts: after 7 trading days, Stability Index 20%
Ascend 2-Step
- Profit targets: Phase 1 – 8%, Phase 2 – 5%
- Daily loss: 4%, calculated at 21:00 UTC off the higher of balance or equity
- Maximum loss: 8% static, from the initial account size — the only SFX programme that is not trailing
- Minimum trading days: 5 per phase — Time limit: none
- Funded: first payout after 5 trading days, Stability Index 25% (the most forgiving gate at the firm)
- Indicative pricing: $7,500 – $79 · $15,000 – $99 · $30,000 – $189 · $60,000 – $289 · $120,000 – $489
Ignite 2-Step
A second two-phase, no-time-limit route, referenced throughout SFX’s payout, Stability Index (20%) and challenge profit-share documentation. At the time of writing SFX’s public help centre no longer carries a standalone Ignite rules article, so confirm the live parameters in the dashboard before purchasing.
Instant Funding
- No evaluation and no profit target — funded from day one
- Daily loss: 3%, reset at 00:00 UTC — Maximum loss: 6% trailing
- Maximum floating loss: 2%, tightened to 1% on $300,000 and $400,000 accounts; breaching it closes the account
- Minimum trading days: 10 per payout cycle
- Indicative pricing: $5,000 – $109 · $10,000 – $149 · $20,000 – $275 · $40,000 – $413 · $80,000 – $689 · $150,000 – $949 · $200,000 – $1,230 · $250,000 – $1,520
Pass First, Pay Later (1-Step)
- $7 up front. The activation fee is charged only after you pass: $10,000 – $109 · $25,000 – $229 · $50,000 – $349 · $100,000 – $579
- Evaluation: 3% target, 7% trailing drawdown, no minimum trading days
- Funded: 3% daily, 6% trailing maximum, 2% maximum loss per trade, 5 trading days per payout
- First payout gate: KYC approved, 21 calendar days since first trade, 5 trading days, 2% minimum profit, Stability Index 20%
Pricing note: SFX runs frequent discount campaigns and promotional tiers (for example $5,000 Instant for $9 and $80,000 Instant for $88), so treat the figures above as indicative of the standard grid rather than a locked price list.
The SFX Stability Index — the consistency rule that gates your payout
SFX enforces consistency with a published formula rather than a discretionary judgement. The SFX Stability Index (SSI) is your largest single-day profit divided by your total profit, multiplied by 100. A lower number means profit spread evenly across many days. You cannot withdraw until your SSI is at or below your programme’s threshold:
- Rapid 1-Step: 15% · Instant Funding: 15%
- 1-Step Pro: 20% · Ignite 2-Step: 20%
- Ascend 2-Step: 25%
A 15% cap is strict: your best day can be no more than about one-seventh of everything you have made. Exceeding the threshold does not forfeit the money, but it does lock the payout until you keep trading and the distribution flattens. A trader who hits target in a single session is stuck until they add roughly six equivalent days.
Note too that SFX defines a trading day unusually: only a day on which you make at least 0.5% profit on the starting balance counts toward minimum-day requirements. Losing and break-even days do not count.
SFX Protect and the maximum floating loss
On funded accounts SFX monitors combined floating loss and automatically closes all open positions when it reaches the maximum floating drawdown — 2% of the starting balance as standard, 1% on $300,000/$400,000 accounts and on 1-Step Pro. On a $100,000 account, −$2,000 of unrealised loss across your book triggers it.
The consequence differs sharply by programme. On Ascend 2-Step it is a soft breach: the first is free, the second cuts your split to 50%, the third disqualifies. On Rapid and Instant Funding a single breach disqualifies you.
Trading rules that apply across all programmes
- Hedging: not allowed on any account type.
- Copy trading: not allowed in any form — automatic or manual, between any combination of accounts, including your own.
- Expert Advisors: only EAs you built yourself and own the source code to. Third-party EAs are banned, and SFX can require you to hand over the source code. Breach means a permanent ban, not a reset.
- News trading: allowed in evaluation; on funded accounts a 4-minute blackout runs from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after every red-folder event.
- Weekend crypto trading: allowed on all account types.
- Also prohibited: martingale, grid trading, tick-scalping, HFT and ultra-fast scalping, latency and hedge arbitrage, news bracketing, order layering beyond about four orders on one idea, group hedging, multi-account reverse trading, and use of emulators.
- Over-leveraging: any position that drops your margin level to 150% or below.
- Inactivity: accounts idle for 30 days are automatically suspended.
- IP consistency: your login region must stay stable; notify support before travelling.
- Penalties escalate before a breach — profit deduction, account reset, a cut of your split to 20–25%, or leverage reduced to 1:10, at the risk team’s discretion.
Scaling plan
To scale, you need 10% total profit over a rolling three months, profitability in at least two of those months, and at least two payouts taken. Evaluation accounts then scale by 50% every three months up to a stated $1.25 million; Instant Funding accounts scale by 100% every three months up to the marketed $3.2 million. Profit share rises alongside and reaches 100% at maximum scaling.
Read those ceilings carefully. They are the top of a scaling ladder reached over repeated qualifying quarters, not capital you can buy — and they sit above SFX’s own stated cap of $500,000 of funded capital per trader across all accounts. SFX publishes both figures in different places and does not reconcile them. Treat $500,000 as the practical allocation limit.
Platforms, leverage and costs
- Platforms: Match-Trader and Platform5
- Leverage: 1:30 forex · 1:10 indices and commodities · 1:2 crypto
- Commissions: $4 per lot on forex and commodities, $0.40 per lot on indices, none on crypto
- Minimum lot size: 0.01 on forex, indices and commodities; 0.1 on crypto
- Swap-free accounts: not offered
- Broker: SFX states it uses its own in-house liquidity provider rather than a third-party broker
- Maximum funded capital: $500,000 per trader across all accounts
- Restricted countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria
Payouts
SFX runs Payout on Demand on Ignite, Ascend and Rapid funded accounts. The first request can come 3 trading days after your first trade, provided you have made 3% profit and your Stability Index is inside the threshold — that first withdrawal is processed at a reduced 40% split, with the standard 80%+ applying from the second payout. After that, requests are accepted every 14 business days, with a 5-day payout add-on available on Ascend and Rapid.
Withdrawals are processed within two business days and SFX backs this with a payout guarantee: paid within 48 hours of risk-team approval, or it pays you $1,000. The clock runs on Dubai business hours only and starts at approval, not submission, so the risk review sits outside the guarantee.
Payout methods: bank transfer, or USDT on the TRC20 network. Payouts under $100 are crypto only, and bank transfers are only sent to an account in the same name used at signup. Your first two payouts are capped at $10,000 each; the cap lifts permanently after that.
Refunds: the evaluation fee is refunded on your 5th payout — a loyalty rebate rather than a money-back guarantee. Pass First, Pay Later avoids the issue by charging only $7 up front.
KYC is handled by Veriff and is required after you pass an evaluation, or before your first payout on Instant Funding. Documents must match your signup details exactly.
What Makes SFX Funded Different From Other Prop Firms?
SFX Funded distinguishes itself from other leading prop firms by offering two unique account types: a two-step evaluation and an instant funding program. These options are complemented by several advantageous features, including no time limit on any evaluation, a consistency-based scaling plan, affordable evaluation prices, and the ability to manage more capital for the same price as many industry-leading prop firms.
Ascend 2-Step: The Only Static-Drawdown Route
The Ascend 2-Step requires traders to complete two phases before becoming eligible for payouts: an 8% profit target in phase one and 5% in phase two, against a 4% maximum daily loss and an 8% maximum overall loss, with 5 trading days required per phase and no time limit. What genuinely sets it apart within SFX’s own line-up is that its 8% overall loss is static, measured from the initial account size. Every other SFX programme uses a trailing drawdown that ratchets up with your equity highs and never falls back, so Ascend is the only route here with a fixed, predictable breach point. It also carries the firm’s most forgiving consistency gate, a Stability Index cap of 25%.
Scaling Plan and Competitive Advantages
Every SFX programme includes a consistency-based scaling plan. Clear 10% profit over a rolling three months, stay profitable in at least two of those months and take at least two payouts, and evaluation accounts scale by 50% per quarter (to a stated $1.25 million) while Instant Funding accounts double (to a marketed $3.2 million), with profit share climbing to 100% at the top. Against the rest of the market SFX competes on price and payout speed — entry from around $48, first payouts from 3 trading days, and a 48-hour payout guarantee — rather than on rule flexibility, which is tighter here than at most large firms.

Instant Funding (formerly marketed as Zero Evaluation) is a direct funding account that bypasses the evaluation entirely and has no profit target. In exchange the risk rules are tighter: a 3% daily loss limit, a 6% trailing maximum loss measured against your highest account value, a 2% maximum floating loss enforced automatically by SFX Protect (1% on $300,000 and $400,000 accounts), and 10 trading days per payout cycle. Pricing starts at $109 for a $5,000 account and scaling runs to a marketed $3,200,000. It suits traders who want capital immediately and can trade steadily — not those who want maximum rule freedom.

In conclusion, SFX Funded stands out from other industry-leading prop firms by offering two distinct account types: a two-step evaluation and an instant funding program. Additionally, they provide several attractive features, such as no time limit on any evaluation, a consistency-based scaling plan, affordable evaluation prices, and the opportunity to manage more capital for the same price as most industry-leading prop firms.
Is Getting SFX Funded Capital Realistic?
Reaching funded status at SFX Funded is realistic, but which programme you pick changes the odds far more than the price does.
The evaluation targets are achievable
An 8% then 5% target on the Ascend 2-Step, 3% on the Rapid, and 9% on the 1-Step Pro are all in line with the industry, and none of the programmes impose a time limit — so there is no pressure to force trades against a deadline. The Ascend also requires only 5 trading days per phase.
The drawdown model is where accounts are actually lost
Every SFX programme except the Ascend 2-Step uses a trailing maximum drawdown. That floor ratchets up on every new equity high and never falls back. On a 4% Rapid account, running $100,000 to $105,000 moves your breach point from $96,000 to $100,800 — give back the 5% you just made and the account is gone without ever touching your starting capital. If you want a fixed, predictable breach point, the Ascend 2-Step is the only programme here that gives you one.
Getting funded is not the same as getting paid
Two gates sit between a passing account and a withdrawal. The SFX Stability Index blocks payouts until your best single day is under 15–25% of total profit, so a trader who makes target in one session must keep trading until the distribution flattens. And a trading day only counts if you make 0.5% or more — losing and flat days do not count toward minimum-day requirements.
Plan for the rulebook, not just the target
Hedging, copy trading and all third-party EAs are prohibited, and the prohibited-strategy list also covers martingale, grid, tick-scalping, HFT, news bracketing and order layering. Several of those — “overtrading”, “one-sided bets”, “inconsistent trading patterns” — are judged at the risk team’s discretion, usually at the point of withdrawal. The practical response is to take small, frequent payouts early rather than building a large balance you then have to defend.
SFX Funded Payment Proof
SFX Funded, incorporated in May 2024, has quickly established a large community of traders who have reached funded status and successfully qualified for profit splits.

When You Can Request a Payout
SFX runs Payout on Demand on its Ignite, Ascend and Rapid funded accounts. The first request can be made 3 trading days after your first trade, provided you have made at least 3% profit and your Stability Index is inside your programme’s threshold. That first withdrawal is processed at a reduced 40% split; the standard 80%+ split applies from the second payout onward. After that, requests are accepted every 14 business days, with a 5-day payout add-on available on Ascend and Rapid.
Minimum trading days per payout cycle differ by programme: 10 on Rapid funded and Instant Funding, 7 on 1-Step Pro, and 5 on Ascend and Pass First, Pay Later.
How Fast SFX Pays
Withdrawals are processed within two business days, and SFX backs this with a payout guarantee: paid within 48 hours of risk-team approval, or it pays you $1,000. Two caveats worth knowing — the clock runs on Dubai business hours only, and it starts at approval rather than submission, so the risk review itself sits outside the guarantee.
Payouts go out by bank transfer or USDT on TRC20. Amounts under $100 are crypto-only, and bank transfers are only sent to an account in the same name used at signup. Your first two payouts are capped at $10,000 each, after which the cap is lifted permanently.
Note on SFX’s own figures: its documentation quotes the payout cycle inconsistently — 14 business days on the Payout on Demand page, 21 days in the 5-day add-on description, and 21 calendar days for the first Pass First, Pay Later payout. Confirm the cycle attached to your specific programme in the dashboard before paying for an add-on to shorten it.

Trustpilot Rating: Currently Removed
Trustpilot has removed SFX Funded’s star rating and placed a public warning on the profile after detecting fake reviews. The 145 individual reviews on the profile remain readable, but there is no aggregate score to quote.
This review previously reported a 4.6 out of 5 based on 48 reviews. That figure no longer stands and should not be relied on. We have removed it, along with the supporting screenshots, rather than leave a score on the page that Trustpilot itself has withdrawn.
We publish a rating of 0 for firms in this position. That is a statement about the missing score, not a scored judgement of the firm — a suppressed rating means the public signal cannot be verified, not that the firm has been assessed and failed. Several other prop firms are in the same position at the time of writing.
What to do instead: open the Trustpilot profile and read the individual reviews and the company’s replies yourself, and weight recent reviews over old ones. Pay particular attention to reports about payouts, the consistency rule and rule enforcement at withdrawal, which is where disputes at any prop firm tend to surface.

Ascend 2-Step
The Ascend 2-Step is SFX’s flagship evaluation and the one we would point most traders to, because it is the only programme at the firm with a static 8% maximum loss rather than a trailing one. Targets are 8% in phase one and 5% in phase two, against a 4% daily loss limit and 5 trading days per phase, with no time limit. It also carries the most forgiving consistency gate at the firm (Stability Index 25%) and the first payout comes after 5 trading days. Scaling runs to a stated $1,250,000.
Instant Funding
Instant Funding skips the evaluation entirely — you are funded from day one with no profit target. The rules are tighter in exchange: a 3% daily loss limit, a 6% trailing maximum loss, a 2% maximum floating loss enforced automatically by SFX Protect (1% on $300,000 and $400,000 accounts), and 10 trading days per payout cycle. Pricing starts at $109 for a $5,000 account, and scaling runs to a marketed $3,200,000.
SFX Funded is worth a look for disciplined manual traders who want cheap entry, fast payout cycles and a genuine route to a 100% split — and the Ascend 2-Step in particular, for its static drawdown. Go in with your eyes open on the two things that catch people out: the trailing drawdown on every other programme, and the Stability Index, which will hold your payout until your profit is spread across enough days. Traders who rely on bought EAs, copy trading or hedging should look elsewhere, as all three are prohibited outright.
SFX Funded provides no time limit on any evaluation, a consistency-based scaling plan, affordable entry prices, and access to more capital for the same price as many leading prop firms. Considering all that SFX Funded offers to traders globally, they are indeed a desirable choice within the prop trading industry.
Conclusion
In conclusion, SFX Funded is a well-equipped proprietary trading firm with six funding routes, splits that scale to 100%, and one of the fastest payout cycles in the industry. It is also a firm whose Trustpilot star rating has been removed over fake reviews, and whose rulebook — trailing drawdown, Stability Index, no hedging, no copy trading, no third-party EAs — is stricter than most. Both halves of that picture matter. The two programmes most traders should look at first:
